Set in a picturesque desert setting on the secluded Warm Springs Indian Reservation, Kah-Nee-Ta was faced with geographical challenges, changing demographics, and increased competition. With a relationship that would last for a decade, DVA was hired to define Kah-Nee-Ta’s marketing strategies and to develop the promotional and branding campaigns for the resort. Our strategy was to use Kah-Nee-Ta’s natural beauty as its primary advantage, positioning it as an escape to the middle of the High Desert. We conveyed this through the utilization of landscape imagery and copy that projected a sense of solitude and fun. By doing so, Kah-Nee-Ta was able to firmly establish itself as one of Central Oregon’s premier destinations.
