Central Oregon’s visitor demographic is broad, and varies greatly by season, geographic origin, and activity. Utilizing a depth of knowledge gained from years of destination marketing, a long-lasting relationship with the client, and knowledge of our own hometown, DVA built a long-term strategy designed to appeal to a variety of audiences with differing needs and interests, while remaining true to the core brand. We helped define COVA’s digital marketing, ramped up our public relations campaign, and developed a stronger structure for their marketing. The result was a campaign which utilized powerful visuals to capture the experience of Central Oregon through regional activities and attractions that appeal to specific audiences, while allowing consumers to fill in the blanks of what the Central Oregon experience means to them. The result of DVA’s efforts included consistent year-over-year increases in revenue, higher occupancy, and significantly increased awareness of Central Oregon as a destination.
